SHAFAQ Football Club was founded in 2025. Our club represents the Sheki Zagatala Zone, as well as the Gakh region. Our club is the successor of SHAFAQ F.K, the first club of our region, which competed in the 2nd Division of Azerbaijan in 1978. It will compete in the AFFA Regional League in the 2025-2026 Football season. Our goal is to continue football traditions in our region - as well as in our district, to support the development of youth in football, to remove bad habits and attract them to the field of sports. Our mission is to provide professional management, protect our values, and set an example by feeling our social responsibility. To increase the value of our club and our region with projects and programs that we can for the development of our region.
